My little buddy Pippin appears to have tail rot. I'm not entirely sure if that's the case but it seems to fit the profile. The end of his tail is lumpier, darker than the upper end, and somewhat stiff, and he appears to have some form of lesioning on the underside of the tail. Pics below...
Hello!
Recently noticed a little yellow spot on Thorn’s head. Please refer to pictures!
Could this be yellow fungus?
Please let me know, anything helps.
Thanks!!
Hey, I’m pretty new to this site but I wanted to post here since I’m out of town and my vet hasn’t replied to my email. My beardie Archie (rescue, don’t know how old) has been pretty lethargic for a week or two and refusing to eat veggies, though he would eat crickets if I hand fed them. I have...
Hey so this is Athena. She’s approx two years old. She shat all over my couch, where I sleep. I used the “Fluker organic cage cleaner” after wiping most of the mess away and then used hot water and dish soap. I sprayed febreze inliquid form all over to remove smell. I still smell it.
1. how do...
Hello this is my first time being a beardie momma and my first post asking for some advice/help just to make sure my baby is happy and healthy. My first question is:
Why does he only open one eye and close the other? And why does he switch them? He does have his eyes open when he’s awake but...
My beardie Korn is about 4-5 months old and has been doing great with his dubias. I have been tong feeding since day one. About 2 days ago he stopped accepting from the tongs, If I drop them in the tank he will go for it and eat, but will ABSOLUTELY refuse to eat from the tongs now lol. Is this...
Hello everyone, we have a young (~1 year old) female bearded dragon named Valdora. Shes mainly on a diet of bok choy leaves, crickets and super worms with some apple as a treat. We tried giving her squash but she had no interest.
We're at out last legs here trying to figure out what's wrong...
Does anyone know what this spot is on my beardies leg is? He also has one on his arm. They are not growing any bigger and I made sure it wasn't stuck shed or anything stuck on him. Someone told me it could just be a birth mark, but I don't know how true that is.
We have been feeding our bearded dragon, Moshe, using the rule where you let them eat as much as they want for 15 minutes at a time we do this twice a day. He's been eating about 20 each time, and then wondering if this means that he's going to be fat, or if he's just a growing juvenile please...
His tail has been pale for quite some time. His body shed about two weeks ago but not his tail. Due to his color, I dont know if his tale looks dead or not. Any experts out there that can help? The closest reptiles vet is an hour away from me without traffic.
Okay so I bought a baby bearded dragon from Petco about 3 weeks ago now he is shaking like he's having a seizure and locking up I know it's due to either Calcium deficiency or he's not getting the proper heating or his vitamins or many other things I'm just trying to figure it out I just need...
I'm completely new to this forum, so I apologize in advance for any rookie mistakes.
My beardie is a rescue and is about a year and a half in age. He is the second dragon I've owned, so I'm not much of a newbie when it comes to caring for them.
His previous owners didn't take too great...
Hello. I'm new to taking care of beardies. Godzilla is about 9 months old at minimum and is very energetic and has a good appetite. However I'm worried about his poop looking a little off. I'm willing to answer any questions if needed and provide any pictures as well. I just want to make sure he...
We recently got Feanor here from a pet store, which we know don't usually take good care of.. reptiles especially. We noticed when we got them they looked thinner than usual and since monday they look a lot bigger now, and stay active longer.
They had low appetite the first two days, but we've...
