Do they... look ok?

We recently got Feanor here from a pet store, which we know don't usually take good care of.. reptiles especially. We noticed when we got them they looked thinner than usual and since monday they look a lot bigger now, and stay active longer.

They had low appetite the first two days, but we've heard that's.. normal at first, and they still ate. We've switched their diet to dubia roaches, pheonix worms, and a salad with greens and varieties of squash. They're pooping fine. They have proper sources of light and heat too and we.. think they seem ok, but their initial vet visit isn't until next wednesday and we're still worried.

We didn't see more than one light source in the store and they seemed to be only fed off of crickets, and like we said they seem distinctly bigger now even within a week. This is our first beardie, and we guess we just don't feel confident enough in our ability to tell if they seem ok now by sight or otherwise or even if by chance we're completely wrong and they're getting overweight.

So we just, thought we should ask in case, since the appointment's five days off and we're still concerned on the chance there's something we should do before. Sorry to bother if we're.. overworrying.

Little one looks good! He's tiny so he wasn't in the improper conditions long enough for it to make a noticeable effect. It's amazing how fast the proper husbandry perks these guys right up! Take a breath, don't worry they are going to be fine.

They may tell you to just keep an eye on that tail. The tip may eventually fall off or they might have to remove it. Looks like a little nip or stuck shed or something going on. Again, it's nothing to worry about. I have a 3 1/2 year old that is missing half her tail, she doesn't even realize it!
