I got Betadine for her today. So hopefully this will help it. The area's getting dark and her grandma is mad because I'm buying treatments for her. I don't want to lose her! Not after all the 'THINGS' and 'STRUGGLE I WENT THROUGH TO GET HER TO WHERE SHE IS NOW!'

I really dnt think that will happen. Positive mental attitude. Shes cum on so much. Onwards and upwards ;)

It's just that I've been reading a lot of articles and the one thing I wanted to have on hand and wanted to bathe her in Betadine and water solution. I want her to get better. It's not her fault she's been sick more than anticipated. I have heard they get sick once in their lifetime...if you think about them more, you see a child. I know children get sick all the time. Frequently until they develop a resistance to the germ. Same with her. Her immune system needs boosting so maybe I'll start giving her an immune system booster.

Well, it must feel a bit better now since soaking in a weak tea betadine solution today before supper. She soaked for a while in the bath. I had to wait a few minutes or so before I put some in. You never know when she might drink from the container. She did once, she'll do it again.

Her spot is turning grey. I'm guessing the Monistat and Betadine is working along with a probiotic powder mixed with water. Even the thing in her mouth is going away. :D

Tonight: Turnip greens with a red bell pepper diced finely. She wanted the diced bell pepper today.

I've asked a bearded dragon rescue group to help me with funds to get to the vet. I want the vet to look at her spot to be sure it's really going away. I've read so much things about what to do and not to do. Every single site's saying, do this, don't do that, or go this route.

1: I give her a daily bath in weak betadine solution.
2: I give her Miconazole twice daily
3: I give her probiotics twice daily

They say to use Voriconazole for internal yellow fungus that might have spread to her organs.

Today: She won't be getting a bath. It's too cold to give her one.

Need to ask you all something? How can caring and asking for help for a bearded dragon rescue that you want to keep be a conflict of interest?

Right. I posted some of Allie's fundraiser on some bearded dragon sites on FB. One was a reptile rescue and they responded with: We'll post this for you on our page no questions asked. We were talking about Voriconzole anti-fungal treatments for internal use.

Then I PM'd a bearded dragon site for healthy dragons. I asked if it were ok to post this on their page. They stated the fund was a conflict of interest because I rescued a dragon and don't want to give her up to a rescue group. How can that be a conflict of interest? I'm being told that I have to give her up to someone else who can properly care for her. I saw that message and my heart started to break. I was almost in tears because I formed a life-long bond with her. How can I give up my bearded dragon when I love her? I want to save her life and help her out.

I give her extra vitamins, Vitamin C and fresh vegetables, and semi-solid greens now.

Dear one - you can only do what you can do. If someone doesnt want to help you - for whatever reason - they will find a way to not help (conflict of interest). Dont waste your energy fretting about their problems. Allies in your life for a reason. Someone else may be able to provide more extensive medical referrals. Please note that i did not say more extensive treatment - what youre doing may be the best (which is not to say that it IS but it very well may be). Please keep in mind that she may not be "cured". Do what you can and love her. Send out those good vibrations. Forgive and pray for those poor souls who feel it necessary to demean others (you) to justify themselves. Forgiveness isnt for them - its for you. Allie will feel negativity. Be happy. Sadly - eventually - she will pass. They / we all do. Cherish your time together. Do what you can do. Ok?

I'm not. I un-liked their page and am about to block them. I certainly don't want to feel any negativity. Someone was negative once before on another site and told me Allie would die within a month because of me. She has surpassed them. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow. Some kind hearted bearded dragon owner donated a large sum to get her there. I know she may not be cured, but there is a treatment for yellow fungus disease. I'm using all of my energy on Allie to get her better or try to. If Allie feels my negativity, she'll die. My Dad had negativity from the staff, his mother, and his sister at a hospital when he had cancer. They told him he was going to die and that's what happened. He passed away. It was horrible hearing the nurses say that and my Mother spoke to him while in a coma. The nurse said: She's talking to him like he's there. Dad was there because he had facial expressions on his face.

I'm spending as much time with her and enjoying her company. I'm positive she'll pull through this. The girl's been through a lot.

She's been through a lot and the reason why she is still here is because of YOU. Don't waste your time dwelling on other peoples negativity. Move past their comment and keep your focus on healing Allie (and keeping yourself healthy). Keep us updated on what the vet says. Positive thoughts coming your way today and always!

The Vet's office refused to see Allie. They wanted her to come on the Fifth...so that I could spend more $$$ on her if she gets worse. I told them she could die without being seen and they only cared for their money. I already told them that things have changed...and that she needs to be seen regardless. It's the money, not the reptile. Whatever happened to 'Okay, bring them in, don't worry about the money yet. Come in and pay whenever you can get down there.' We were having trouble with getting down there and are paying for her last visit.

So: I went ahead and decided to try the all natural way. I'm going to try Reptaid XL. I bought it today and will get it tomorrow. Then I can start her on that. It's supposed to help build her immune system. A blood clot came out today on a qtip. She keeps aggravating the right side's clots. She didn't eat much today. Just took a few nibbles and that was it. Maybe she's not hungry at all.

The spots looking like 'shed'. Almost like getting ready to shed. Is that a good thing?

My positive thoughts are coming your way too Noella. You're doing a great job for Allie

Thanks. I've been positive, but negative people are really bothering me. It's like they want her to die or don't care.

I'm focusing on her well-being and also told the vet that I'll treat her at home. They were like, "Ok." Dummies. Money's the root of all evil. Hit me up for monies next month. I'll be in next month. Gas is high.

I'm finding vets are like salesmen in lab coats. Kanra's (my kitten) vet told me she had fleas despite the fact that I am allergic to them, she is short haired and swims in the bath water with my GF and forced me to buy a month of flea meds almost tried to sell me 3 months after I said no. After her second visit for the deworming I haven't been back to him nor will I return
