    Recycled pallets safe to use?

Honestly, I would avoid pallet would at all costs. I worked with it early in my woodworking career and you honestly never know whats been put on them and how deeply its soaked into the wood. Sometimes no amount of waterproofing can keep it from leaking out. I've stopped using it in my building...

    Adenovirus cleanup

My bearded dragon recently passed away from Adrenovirus. I'd like to make 100% sure his terrarium is cleaned before I even think about putting one of my other reptiles in the tank. so far I have 2x cleaned with 50% bleach 2 x cleaned with 20% vinegar 2 x wiped with CaviWipes rinsing with hot...

    Beardie still wont eat

100 W basking and a 24" T5 inside the tank. temps all checkout as good. Was 110 at the basking spot but he always stayed just outside the hottest point so I adjusted the lamp position so it was 108 and he likes that much more. UVB is 8" from the basking spot.

    Beardie still wont eat

Yellow or discoloured, no nothing odd at all, and no saliva. Hes not the peppiest of pets but he does move back and forth from his hot to warm side. However, I have been noticing that he does prefer his cool side lately. I'm not sure if thats an issue or just that fact that the wood on that...

    Beardie still wont eat

If I put Crickets or BSFL in his terrarium he wont chase them. If I hold a BSFL near him then drop it he may eat one or two...per day. Compare that to my other little monster who would eat 20-30 crickets 3/day.

    Beardie still wont eat

Need some advise I had my beardie Norbert for over a month now and he's not eating normally. His setup posted in the enclosure section but here is a quick overview. 40G, 24' T5 inside the tank. Heat is 110 on the hot side taken with a temp gun. Substrate is ceramic tile. He didn't ever eat...

    Baby Dragon not eating much

Thanks for your reply. The UVB is at the front of the tank and his basking spot is at the back so its about 10' away from that. I could move it over towards the opposite side of his basking spot but I was worried about him not getting enough UVB. Unfortunately Dubias are illegal in Canada. I've...

    Baby Dragon not eating much

I'm probably over reacting but I wanted to get some advise. I did a lot of research before getting Norbert and I know relocation stress can cause them to stop eating. However, I got him just over a week ago and hes still only eating about 2-5 crickets a day and some veggies. My setup is...

    New beardie and inclosure

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that I use a temp gun to measure the different areas. Also thanks for the link I've read it quickly but I'll make sure to follow the instructions when I get home.

    New beardie and inclosure

I'm hoping to get some feedback. I think I have the husbandry down but I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right for my new baby beardie. Norbert is one month old. The terrarium is 40g, his basking spot is normally around 108, mid 95 and cool 80. HIs UVB is from a 24" Sunblaster T5...
