I will he just looks so sad when I don't take him out and when I put him back in. I gave him his greens this morning then went back about 30 minutes later and put him in his bath then he pooped in it so I took him out and then did it again a couple hours later. This is the first time he's been in this kind of mood when shedding. Usually it's over with real quick. Does the tail take longer because it's been brown for a while now?

Allie's took a long time trying to shed her tail and I gave her more frequent warm soaks.

Even when shedding, you shouldn't be soaking them several times a day. Misting will help.

Allie's in one of her 'Leave Me Alone-Mommy, help me! My head's itching!' moods. Then she cuddles up to me as if telling me to take away all of her itchiness. :p Yesterday, she laid on her hammock for one minute, looking down at all of us, and then off to play 'glass dance and arm wave'. :)

Spike has had a hammock in his enclosure for about 3 weeks. Tonight, for the first time, when he put himself to bed he decided to sleep on the hammock....spread eagled no less!! LOL :D

Hammock broke today. :*( I called petmountain and they're going to send me a new one. :) Allie's found her flannel blanket on the hot side and sprawled out all over it, sexy legs 'n' all. :) LOL!

Allie had some watermelon today. Yum! Then she ran all over the place and jumped to get to some place. Energetic dragon anyone?

I am soooo glad I have a Spike and not a Spikette!! So I am 'assuming' that shriveled eggs are not fertile eggs? What do you do with the eggs? Take them out of her enclosure and 'dispose' of them? Don't ever want any eggs....so glad Spike has those two little bumps....lol :D

yesterday i took Kyuubi back to petsmart to see all his old caretakers, they thought i was feeding him growth hormones or something cuz of his size and how young he was.

i have never taken him anywhere so yesterday was a first. worked out ok he does not seemed stressed though he puffed up while i was driving and turned his beard black. once at the store he chilled out

So how did you take him in the car? In a box? I think my Spike would really be p'd if I took him outside. He has never been there except when he came to me from Ohio. Maybe someday....it is hotter outside than it is in his viv!!
