Do you just let the skin fall off? I see videos of people pealing it off their dragons.
Do not peel the skin let it shed off on its own --- as long as he has things to rub his face on / and his body he will be ok -- if you want you can take and spray him down then take a soft baby toothbrush and gently brush him when the scales are crackly and dry peeling off -- peeling them when they are really not ready to come off you will get bleeding which can cause an infection - the dry crackly scales will brush off when wet w/ the tooth brush -

Good to know. I just left them alone. Ive seen him scratching to get them off but I didnt want to peal it off cause he is pealing just at the base of his neck. Got my temps today, basking spot is around 92 F and his colder spot is 75 ish. Are those good temps for him? I did move his basking light up further cause he was holding his feet off the rock. After I moved it he hasnt done that sense

Did you use the probe to get that 92 temp? Its not hot enough you want 105-110 - if hes holding his feet off the decor piece its too hot- and a 92 temp would not do that - its when its over 110 -

I got his temp up to 105 but he is lifting his feet again but really likes the heat. Should I get him something else to perch on? Dont want him to get burned

He is a normal scale but the broken pattern on the tail is indicative of a Dunner. If you can post a picture of his belly and beard it will be easier to tell. Also of the eyes and nails and we can see if he is hypo and/or translucent. He has a really busy pattern on his back so I wouldn't be surprised if he has some other genetics hoing on.

The belly scales look pretty uniform. A Dunner they are haphazard. But the large white scale on the back and the broken stripes on the tail make me think it is a Dunner

Interesting. I googled them after I saw this and the patterns and colors dont seem to match him much? Will his pattern change as he gets older?
