I would not use the sand. If you can, scuff the tile to make it rough, if the tile is smooth. You can scuff it with Sand paper. However, cleanup is real easy. Helps with the nails also.

Also with the greens issue, try to give her fruit as well as an alternate. That may get her eating. My guy likes his basil and arugula. That usually gets him eating. I put some calcium powder on the greens and that usually also gets my bearding to eat his greens.

Just curious about something, my guy has one of two reactions when I pett him lately. Either he closes his eye while I am petting him, or he violently snaps his head. The second reaction is obviously his way of saying kiss off I am not in the mood. However, should I take his eye closing as...
What does it mean when your Beardie starts to tap the glass of the cage? Tonight, he was really don't it while really being active in his enclosure. He is a around 18 months old. I took him out but he just wanted to go back in. Then he started leaping around and glass tapping again.

My guy does it when he does not like what he is served to eat and has to eat it under protest. He uses his tail to send his bowl across the tank as his sign of total disgust for his menu choice.

Thank you. I did clean his vent after I took the pics. He hates his bath with a passion. However, he gets one anyway. Thank you to everyone for the advice. This place is a great resource!

Hi everyone,
Quick question, is it normal for byiyr dragon to start to barely eat? Skippy is a good eater, but since we got back from vacation he barely wants to eat. He is over a year old. Usually eats, fruit veggies and protein.

My little buddy Skippy usually poops once a day. Lately it has been fluctuating between once every other day to every two days. He has been molting a lot and growing. He has been refusing his food lately but will eat his worms instead of veggies. His diet is very regular with a good mix of...
Can't get him weighed right now. However he is 17.5" in and under a year old. Molting again but diet is steady, not over feeding at all. Good balance of protein and vegetables.

Hi Everyone,
Skippy has been growing steadily as he is almost a full year old. However, something I noticed is that his beard, when not puffed out, is very droopy/saggy. Is this normal?
