I have had my beardie for about a year and a half now. I have a light fixture that you can fit 2 bulbs in. One of which is a night light (which i use for heat and night heat) and the other is a normal light to make his cage brighter. I have heard many people here talking about hot and cold...
Are you selling him or giving him up? I saw you on a different post and he looks like such a sweetie. I'm not sure if I could have him but I have some questions. How does he behave? Does he like to be held? Does he puff up a lot? And any other general info you could give me is great!
I would reccomend separating them no matter the sexes. Great job with the calcium supplement. If they are eating on their own you should not need to give them baby food.
I'm not sure if I can take him but how far are you willing to drive to get him somewhere? And if you have a local reptile shop (other than like petco, petsmart, ect.) You could take them there if you need to get rid of him quickly.
I would love to get my beardie a bed. I want one so we can chill on the couch while he is still comfy, but I don't know what type to get. I will state that I do not plan on getting one from etsy they are very cute but a little out of my price range. I would also like something that is not just a...
I have been using repti-chip but have recently noticed tiny bugs in the cage (that have not effected my beardie) and want to change to ceramic tile. I want to do the cage full ceramic, is that a good idea? I also know to disinfect for the bugs btw. Also where do you get your ceramic tiles? And...
I would defenitly separate them. And make sure the tanks are far enough away from each other, or have something in between so they can't see eachother.
I would reccomend giving him a bowl of salad and try out different fruits and veggies (as long as they're safe) and see which ones he likes. Your beardie may be a little lethargic. I would reccomend letting him swim in the bath (plastic tote), and make sure you are playing with him a little bit...
When I first got my beardie a few years ago he did too. It tends to rub their nose down and can make them bleed just a little. Mine didn't stop until I got him a bigger cage. Also I would reccomend putting your hand in front of the glass as he does it. I suspected mine might be thinking there is...
