We didn't sell her per se, but we were able to re-home her with a friend of a friend who is an exotic vet tech. For us that was the most important piece to this puzzle, getting her into a home where we knew she could receive the love and care she needs!
Good morning & thanks for the question! Sorry, I meant to update this yesterday.
So while we have put a good chunk of money into her (the enclosure, stand, stack cabinet and floor mat total nearly $600), we don't currently have a way to transport her at all so the lucky new parents would...
Good afternoon Beardy Friends,
Unfortunately, I am writing to the community today in hopes of finding a good home for our little dragon girl, Mmantsiane (Mmantsi for short).
My wife and I recently moved to NYC - yes amidst the corona-chaos - for work. Given the small living space, but mostly...
Hey ya'll, so we adopted a 2.5 - 3 year old at the end of December. Generally speaking I think transition has gone pretty well. The previous owner had her in a smallish tank with a coil uvb bulb on top and a weird styrofoam type wall on the rear interior wall that led chucks flying all over...
Phew, okay, well good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. There are a couple of windows in the room that don't directly face her enclosure, but what you're saying about spring fever makes sense. Now that the sun is coming up earlier, I have noticed she is still in her floppy...
Morning friends,
Our 3 year old female seems to really enjoy surfing or running on the walls, as though she just really wants to climb vertically. We adopted her about 6 weeks ago and generally her health has been pretty solid. She eats pretty well for her brumation period, but a handful of...
So our 2.5 year old bearded has a weird wart-like spot on one of her hind legs. We haven't found any other spots on her elsewhere. It doesn't appear to irritate her, not that I would really know. I have attached a couple of pictures, but can take more if need be. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi Kaylyn, thanks for the help! We have her in a solid setup finally. We got her a little more space in a bigger tank, and a new light fixture for a T5HO tube (night heat light gone). She has been highly receptive thus far.
She's still very picky about her food though. She generally won't...
Sorry for the delay. Thank you! I removed it the other day and cleaned out the tank entirely to ensure all traces of that Styrofoam were gone. We have a 100w basking bulb and a 10.0uvb bulb going, with temps hovering between 95-100f throughout the day. We did buy a night heat light which...
Good morning All! Excited to be here! While not super new the world of reptile ownership I am new to the Beardy-realm.
I received a 3-year-old female bearded from a friend of the family as they couldn't give her the love and attention she needed. So far she seems to have taken to me and my...
