    Need help with lighting

Also I just reread my thing and it does sound like I was saying they were cohabbed together and that they’re in one tank. I worded it bad, but I promise that they are most definitely in two separate tanks. Sorry about that!

    Need help with lighting

I’m very aware not to cohab together and I never have and would never put my beardies in a situation like that. Even with an 8ft enclosure they should never be housed together. That is a stance I am very strong on and fully believe no beardies should ever be cohabited together. Sorry I should...

    Need help with lighting

Hey all! So right now I have a 55 gal and am about to order a new uvb. I currently have coil but have learned a t8 or t5 will be way better for them. I know t5s are better and I’d love to get that one, but I have a metal lid. I heard from somebody that with metal lids you’ll have to go with t8...

UVB distance to dragon through metal mesh? (10 uvb t5 fluourescent lamp HO)

Yes your uvb should be fine and with that long light you should be fine ditching the mini uvb but you still do need a light for basking too. You can do this with an mvb or get a regular basking light

    Bearded Dragon Substrate

Hey guys! I really want to switch my bearded to a bioactive tank or one with sand or soil so that they can dig. I have carpet right now but I just think it’d make them happier having that instead. I know impactation can be a problem with this so are there ones that are better to use than others...

    Bearded Dragon really sick :((

Hi, sorry I'm just getting back. This weekend was a long one. I used the website you gave to find the vet I went to, and I have also ordered the lights you recommended from that website as well. At the vet, he had hydrated and nourished her and just helped her feel a lot better. When we picked...

    Bearded Dragon really sick :((

Update: The vet I had scheduled at 2:10 today called me before I went in and told me to prepare for the possibility of making a hard decision. He wanted to put her down. I still have hope for her and couldn’t accept that. Thankfully I now have a vet appointment tomorrow at 7:30 with a new vet...

    Bearded Dragon really sick :((

The first time I had gone, he checked over her and then had told me that he believed that it was a parasite problem. That's when I first got the cream. But then the next time I had gone back she had gotten tested for parasites and it came back completely clean. He told me to just keep using the...

    Bearded Dragon really sick :((

I have a 75 watt repti basking spot lamp, a reptisun 10.0 mini UVB compact flourescent light, and then I have a 40 watt nano ceramic heat emitter to keep her warm. Should I be using different lights? Or are there better lights I could be using instead?

    Bearded Dragon really sick :((

Hey guys, so about a month ago my bearded dragon stopped eating and she became brownish yellowish on her belly. I figured a parasite and took her in to the vet right away. She got put on a topical treatment, for both her stomach and back. (She has some skin problems on her back and the vet said...
