    Brumation help :)

Thank you so much! I woke up this morning and she was awake and active again. I am going to keep a close eye on her, but I think she will be okay traveling. She usually sleeps the whole time anyways. Thank you again and Happy Holidays

    Brumation help :)

My 1 year old female beardie, Frankie, is currently brumating for the first time. This is my first beardie and I just want to make sure I am doing everything right or if I am doing too much. First, I live in central Texas and it has not gotten cold yet, cold being below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. I...

    9 month old beardie

Thank you! I haven't noticed her beard or belly turning black like it would if she was really stressed out which makes me less concerned. I think it could be that she just wants to be let out. If I am sitting at my desk by her tank she will scratch at the glass until I let her out and then she's...

    9 month old beardie

She hasn't really been basking at all for the past two days about. She usually poops in the mornings. I have her lights on a timer and when I wake up in the mornings she almost always has pooped. She also poops once in the afternoon most days. I have no other pets or children. Just me and my...

    9 month old beardie

Hi! I have a 9 month old female bearded dragon named Frankie. She just finished her second full body shed and ever since her behavior has been really off. She hasn't really been eating and she's been super hyper. Constantly running around in her tank and glass surfing. She has three lights in...

    Hello from Texas!

I personally wouldn't use human nail clippers because they actually can damage the nail because they cut from above and below versus cat nail clippers cut in a circle. I got reptile nail clippers from Petco for like $9 and they work great. My beardie loves to watch my computer so when I clip her...

6 mo old bearded dragon sneezing

Frankie does the same thing. She bulges her eyes only when her face is shedding. I looked it up and everything I read said it was normal.

Yes she has the Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB T5 inside her tank no closer than 6 inches from her basking spot as well as the Zoo Med 100 W basking light. She also gets calcium with D3 and multivitamin on her crickets.

6 mo old bearded dragon sneezing

I noticed this weekend that Francine has been sneezing, a few times a day. I have also noticed that she is staring to shed on her face (eye bulging and rubbing). I haven't noticed any other issues that might be related to a respiratory infection. Her basking spot is about 107 F and her cool side...
