I have a bearded dragon, who I have been calling ‘he’ from a guess. He is about 17 inches long and a year old, so plenty old to be sexed. There are no reptile vets near me so I can’t take him there to be sexed. I tried the flashlight test, but I don’t have a strong enough light to shine through...
My BD, Bongo knows that I’m there even if he can’t see me. My mom and I did experiments (he only eats when no ones watching him), where we both hid out in the hallway and looked through the door crack. He just stared at the door until we left. How does he know we’re there? Can he hear our...
Thanks everyone for all your help! I don’t think I will ever be able to stop worrying about something or other with him but I know you guys have my back!
So, Bongo is about 6 months old. I estimate his birthday is March 17th. Anyway, I’m unsure of his gender. Any help would be appreciated as I’m a first time owner and have no idea how to see them. Here are pictures: ( I can take ones with flashlight if you need them)

It doesn’t look like rot, I posted pics on my profile of my beardies tail and someone said it wasn’t tail rot. My dragons tail looks a lot like yours, so I doubt it is. Keep an eye out though. Is he shedding? His body looks the whitish shed color.
It’s hard to see in some of the pictures, but my beardie’s tail gets darker towards the tip. I’ve heard of tail rot and I’m very worried. He’s about five months old
So the other day, at about 6:30, I saw my bearded dragon do a gulping/hiccuping motion. He inflated his beard and quickly puffed it back in, like a hiccup without sound. I’m worried. I posted a few pics of it. Is this something I should be worried about?
