Squishy head? Fat stores or medical condition?

okay Soooo I know I post a lot, sorry about it, I know I seem like a really bad owner, but I’m a newbie BD owner and there isn’t a reptile vet near me. Anyway, today i noticed some squishy lumps on Bongo’s head. Near where his spikes start, behind his eyes? I have read posts and can find almost nothing about it, I think they are fat stores but I can’t be positive? What do you guys think?

I was the same way when I first got my beardies. I questioned everything. It’s better to question than to ignore I think.

Yep, those squishy lumps are the fat pads! No worries there. You want to be able to see them, or feel them. Those are the first signs of a healthy dragon. Although, I do have a female that doesn't have visible fat pads on her head. I can see them when she chews her food. She has a very thick tail base though, that's where the other fat pads are.
