What UVB do you use and why do you use it over others.

I feel that ZooMed goes above & beyond with testing & production. My dragons react well 2 their bulbs, I've always used them & always will.

I'm using both zoo med MVB and Repti Sun Tubes. I like the MVB one plug in less power strips. I plan on picking up a UVB meter and doing some testing on how soon they loose there UVB just to see what the best bang for the buck is. One thing people need to realize is when running these bulb both MVB and Fluorescent' if you run them on top of a screen it reduces the UVB by over half at 12 inches.

Reptile One UVB 10.0 Fluorescent Tube - Simply because it was the only 10.0 globe l could buy without having to travel a couple of hours to the city to try and find any of the brands you guys talk about.

I use an Arcadia 12% with D3 tube in all 4 of my vivs. A lot of the makes you mention we cant get here in the UK.
Used to use the Repti-Glo 10% but was advised by a breeder to use the Arcadia and my Dragons seem to be thriving with it.

I use Repti Glo 10.0 as thats what all the local reptile stores have around here in the UK. Its what ive always used. Ive not actually seen them stock anything else. Dragons you mentino Arcadia - do you get that from a rep store or pet/fish store ?

Also seems different stores tell you that they last different times. Some still say 6 months - others say 9-12. I change mine when i see a little black dot appear at one end, which is usually around the 9-10 months of useage.

I get my uv tube from my local store - it's a small family run business that has been going for about a year now and he specalises in reptiles, he is also a well known breeder of Royal Pythons. He uses the 12% arcadia with all his own Dragons too. You can get them easily on ebay tho. They are slightly more expensive than the 10% tubes but they do last longer. They have a 12 month life span.

Do you Have a Dobbies Garden Centre near you? I know that we have one local and they do reptile stuff, we also have a another garden centre that doesnt sell the reptiles, but they do sell the equipment & food. Such a shame your local sho[p had to close, seen so many local businesses around here have to close too. The guy I go to seems to be doing really well tho, think it more because he specialises in the reptiles and we would have to go to the city oterwise for the same sort of service.
