Unknown breathing problems/ has anyone seen this before?

Congratulations on the new arrival, a vet check is in order to make sure he's healthy. Until then I would be doing a strict isolation so nothing passes from 1 to the other.

We still have to pack some weight on him with critical care. He's got MBD pretty bad, so his bones are rubbery and he isn't able to chew roaches or anything yet. He'll be gaining strength pretty quickly now that things are moving like they should

Is it just the photo, or is Mango a tad thin? He looks like such a sweet boy.

Have you tried nutrigrubs (bsf larvae)? I know dubiaroaches.com doesnt have the small ones but they pack a heck of a lot of calcium and they are soft. When Izzy had her mbd issue, i literally fed her the nutri grubs almost every day and it helped so much. With dust, a lot of it falls off when the bug moves. Hopefully he'll start regaining his strength soon!

Yeah, its werid, he is skinny but he is also super long. Hes hillarious though, his legs have to be touching something, he can't just have them hanging. He hangs on so tight - im gonna start calling him velcro :'D

How's Mango today? Any funky colored stool? Maybe he has some sort of parasitic issue causing the weight loss. It would be nice if it was something simple that you could treat easily. He sounds like such a darling little character. I think velcro is a good nickname for him

I haven't had BSFLs in a little while. Once I get the munchkin on solid food, I'll have to order some more.

He seems to be doing good so far. I havent seen any stool yet so im gonna have to bathe him soon. Im frustrated that Mangos previous owners would give him to me under the circumstances. I bet they didnt even think something was wrong. Im hoping if he is sick that it is something simple that can be treated easily.

Yeah, when it comes to sick beardies bsfs are my go to. Hopefully he'll be on solid foods soon!
