If it's a shedding problem, a warm bathe and rubbing the tail gently with a q tip soaked in water could help. What I do if my BD is having a hard time shedding is give him a bath, and rub the areas of shed with fresh aloe vera. This seems to help a lot since sheddings that were hanging from him for days would fall off the next morning after applying aloe vera. It basically acts as a moisturizer.
Could give it a shot, it wouldn't hurt! Aloe vera's are nice to have around in general too haha.

I'm a jerk so I would have told the store people what is up. I'm not trying to hear their crap guidelines from a Franchise. If there was 100 different ways to sale BD safe children's sifted playsand.... then there would not be any cali-sand or repti-sand out there. We as humans take medications to help relieve symptoms but in reality, these meds are killing our organs. I know from first hand experience. And none of them care enough to tell you.... how disrespectful!

I have aloe Vera plants. Do you just break off a bit and use? Also wondering if this would work on my daughter's ball python as well as the beardie I'm getting on the 28th at the show.

Yep, I just cut the plant whenever I need some, squeeze the gel out and just apply it to the spots.
