Hmmm...what is the make of your UV bulb.

It sounds like his relo stress is coming to an end. Gotta love the night time cuddles.

its a reptiglo 5.0.
Ive been warned about the 10.0s!
Thank god.
Because Ive been thinking im gonna switch to a 10 reptisun soon though.
Prolly next pay day.
Though he spends alot of time on his perch (6inches away from uvb)
I feel like a 10.0 might be better so itll reach all the way down into the tank.
Any opinions?

Everyone knows that I am a fan of the ReptiSun 10.0 tube. Beardies need A LOT of UV light. Currently, this one is the best on the market for them.

Do some research. I know that I can't find it in any of the stores around me. I always order it online. I like convenience too. Here's a link to our store if you can't find it anywhere. It will take you to Pet Mountain's site.

you dont think the 10.0 is over doing it?
I know the rays reach down about 18 inches into the tank
and he normally sit about 7 or 6 inches from the current light on his perch.
You dont think it'll cause eye problems?
Oh and thanks for the link c:

Nope... I've used the 10.0 suns, and still do. You will, however, want to lower the tube, or raise the basking site, so it is 8" from the basking site.
Hope this helps out.

Not at all. Bearded dragons need a high level of UV to thrive in captivity. The ReptiSun 10.0 tube has been known to be an excellent source of UV for dragons. It's the best on the market currently.
