I see you been asked a few times about the tank and never clearly replied. Would it be easier for you to snap a photo of what you're physically working with and correct anything there and then get a prob thermometer to get all your temps and work that issue next? I know it can be overwhelming to understand multiple people telling you stuff.

Hi, yes it is a little overwhelming. I appreciate ppl concern and their suggestion but I am not going to buy other lamps (the one I bought are the one I mentioned in the thread) or other expensive staff as I don't have the budget for it. That is why I take him out almost every day when the sun is out and I cover one side of the tank to keep the heat in. I am also bathing him twice a week. He's just not eating much anymore since I gave him the medication for the pinworm and coccidia. So I am wondering if that has something to do with it.

I went back and read a bit more. Can you tell me what UVB you're using with him and is it inside or outside mount. Mine just stop their meds for coccidia too as they were neglected prior to my house. It did take some food and light adjustment to get them eating again. Does he have a basking area and what the temp there? If I missed that information I'm sorry.

I don't remember the light brand but it is on the pictures I posted and it is outside sitting on top of the tank on the screen. There is a basking area on the right side of the tank. Sorry I don't have substratas because of the parasites. It is 10:20 am here in SoCal, his inside temperature will raise in the pm because that room gets all the pm sun and can get really hot. Anyway here's more pictures

New here and just now seeing the pictures. The bulb in Uvb lamp needs to be 10 not 5.. they sale them both ways so that be one thing to look into.Second is when sick or recovering they tend to like extra warm. I noticed Max looks dark and he may be trying to get warmer. Might consider heat eliminator on 24/7 to keep levels warmer until he bounces back. Have you tried any probiotics? My vet said they are much needed when recovering/treating coccidia

Probiotics? Do you have a name for the probiotic for lizards you reccommend? He is hiding now and the temperature inside tank is 91. He is hiding away from the heat and he is all yellow. Maximus is definitely not a normal BD.

benebac plus(Photo below) first mix 0.5 ml of Pedialyte, 2 drops of liquid vitamin together in syringe and follow up with the 0.2 benebac. During Memphis worst part of Battle with coccidia I had to force feed him. I refuse to use baby food due to the insane amount of salt they use to avoid chemical preserves. I took greens, veggies, roaches and crickets and puree it with a splash of Pedialyte until it will fit in syringe.(5 ml)plus the one with vitamins and benebac. I then had to force fed him 3 days a week for 2 weeks. To get him back eating. We're in week three since treatment and he just now eating worms again with a roach here and there. Many would be against my ways but Memphis has always been small. He went from 215 grams to 156 in a week. Had I not step in with meds, vitamin and feedings he would definitely be dead.

It may take awhile for the appetite to come back after the meds but you need those surface basking temps up to par - the 5.0 bulb is not strong enough for UVB that bulb is used for fish tanks please get a 10.0 and adjust the distance to what I have posted -- here is Tracies website for a probiotic this is the one I used for Blaze

Like I have posted your dragon needs the correct surface basking temp and good UVB -

I do force feed him now with Repashy super green food. I mixed some baby organic squash. Didn't like that so I went back with just the superfood. I just feel bad because force feed him stress him out and he always resit on getting the syringe. All he eats now are the dandaleon flowers. I will get the probiotic.
