My female just laid a clutch last night, in her tub, and I haven't been able to get in and get them yet.
I just walked up to their cage and my male was digging in my female's tub right where she had laid the clutch.
Any suggestions as to why????

That would be my first thought do you keep them together.

Now they have both dug th clutch up. I keep the female and male together. She's had three previous clutches and this has never happened.

u should really have seperated the male from the female after she layed her eggs as she needs time to recover n the male will just stress her out, n did he not harm the eggs in any way wen he started to dig??
