My beardie who I was told was 4 months old when I got him, seems small in comparison to others, if he was 4mths that would make him 1 year old in July and it dont seem right, he is just over 12ins long and only 53g. Please help! He don't like to eat greens. I picked up some superworms today. Can anyone help or give guidance?

He or she looks REALLY thin. Also looking a little lethargic, probably due to lack of food?
And I would stick with either dubias or crickets instead of mealworms.
He/she looks to be at about 1 year old. The biggest concern right now though is how thin and weak he/she looks

Sorry I meant superworms, they can have some problems with the worms at that age and size. And they won't always like much of greens until they get a bit older and bigger.

I feed him crickets everyday, and try to get him to eat other things, he only takes a couple of bites from butternut squash, is there anything I can do?!

Well, is he shedding alot? How often has he been shedding?
And do you feed him as much as he can eat in 5 minutes.

There's no need to be too worried yet (although most of us still do haha). He's probably just got a really fast metabolism.

Does he have the appropriate cage size and lighting?

He has been shedding quite frequently, Altho he hasn't at all this month, I usually feed him 10 or so at a time, sometimes he eats them all other times he will leave them for a little while then finish them off

He sounds to be ok then. He seems to just have a really fast metabolism like my other Dragon

Ever since I got him, he has never been crazy active, he really just likes to cuddle, I dont let him wonder to much around the house cause of my cats and dog. I guess I'm just nervous cause he seems so small compared to others, ive been trying to get him to eat greens, but he just loves his crickets, I am dusting them with calcium, he gets little 5-10 min soaks about 4 days a week, he drinks in the bath....I dont know if I'm just paranoid or not...I have the supers here that I got today to help him put on some weight, he ate like 9 if them within a few min.

That looks beautiful, yeah I'm sure he's alright. Although as he gets bigger he might need a bigger terrarium [emoji5]

I'm looking into display cases to make him a custom home, he is just like a child to me, I just want to make sure he is big enough, unless he is just ment to be tiny

He's still got many years ahead of him haha. He'll get into his greens stage as he gets older. We all love them like they're children lol and care for them like so as well hahaha. Keep doing what you're doing, he looks like a happy puppy [emoji16]

I would have a fecal done to rule out parasites. If a dragon is eating but not getting bigger, there is a chance that it has parasites that are getting all the nutrients before the dragon is able to get them. Bump up your basking temp to 107 degrees, little ones need higher heat. Also make sure that your basking bulb is in front of your UVB bulb. The two work in tandem to help the body synthesize D3 to calcium.

I have Leezard, i got him at 6 months old, he is now 6 years old and he's very small and always has been. I've taken him to a specialist Vetenarian and he believes that Leezard has problems during his incubation process, he also believes that in the 1st few months of from hatching the lighting/food wasn't propper for him. He's small bit has a big heart. He eats well, poops well but has never gotten bigger. He has had x-ray and his bone structure is also fine. Nothing wrong with having a small dragon. I'm sure he or she will be just fine. Keep up the cuddles
