I would love to know what goes on in their tiny brains! Yesterday I was telling Dexter about all the beat up dragons at the reptile fest and she was staring at me and turning her head as if she took in every word I said!

There's got to be some kind of 'brain intelligence' or they just love listening to us rant and rave about other dragons or just things in general.
Oh you should also know: Allie's the first registered bearded dragon voter! She voted for the President of the US and everyone at the city hall got a trip out of her. She had her I Voted Sticker and headed out like a proud citizen. :D lol

Yeah. They do have small heads, but large brains. Allie is one such beardie that amazes me. Today, I was tickling her belly and all her legs started to move to clench my hand. It was like a tickle response.

This has been Luci all week, this is the only place he will sit for hours and not run away. He so wants to go outside!

GRRRR! So today I was playing with Luci and noticed that he hurt the SAME nail that Dexter did :( I don't know when it happened it looks like it's healing up good like Dexter's is. The weird thing is that the nail looks fine, it's not loose or anything but the area underneath has another nail growing out of it!

I'm going to try to get a better look at it tomorrow and see if it's actually a nail or if she got a sliver. I'll try to take a picture. He's so small not sure I can get a good one.

Here's the nail. Almost looks like he's growing a claw.

It's the weirdest thing, they are both in there solid. He's not favoring that foot at all. He still runs on it and climbs on it and doesn't flinch when I touch it.

Have you taken him to the vet to check it out? It looks like a hang nail.

Unsure. They (the Vet) might have to remove it. I haven't seen a 'hangnail' in a bearded dragon before.
