Beardie outside foraging

Hello all,
My question because I'm new to dragon owning,
Rusty my male fully mature dragon NEVER eats his greens like ever.
Today i took him outside because he seems very restlessness, digging and glass surfing,
Put him in a Sandy spot by garden, and he starts eating grass leaves all kinds of stuff, i grabbed what i could away from him and gave him dandelion leaves i could find, what do you know he eats them, keeps eating them and keeps foraging for more.
Should i put live plants in his tank?
He has 120 gallon tank, that's pretty new as well and i think he might be little disturbed by all the changes, question actually is, will anything he could have got in grass today, be harmful, should i stop letting him in the garden area?
Thx guy's
Anything natural no plant.

Of course, I'm kinda proud of it,
The 2nd beardie just passed away, she was, the girl swears, close to 20 yrs old, Rusty she says is 14, but he doesn't act like a senior, he runs around and usually eats his bugs without trouble, after stumpy passed, i cleaned entire tank and he now has whole set up, but he is litte cautious and is not eating like normal, but I'll send u pic and stop being so long winded
yeah i was thinking bout doing something like how you got yours set up for my baby girls when i get it all done i will come and posted a pic of it ima work on it this weekend well today lol
