That is odd I don't understand why- those are good and safe bulbs- the basking bulb is an intense or a daytime bulbs?

Just a basic basking bulb is all it says. I use the 100 watt and 150 sometimes depending on the temp outside

Ok so are the bulbs together? Uvb and basking or do you have them in the same area ? Did you get the reptisun bulb?

It's just a 100 watt bulb right now and the UVB and basking bulb are on the same side of the cage

So when he's basking under the basking bulb how long? And he's not under the uvb at all?

He hasn't basked directly under the bulb in a couple months and he seems to not like sitting under either of the lights.

Well he must be getting enough cuz he's pooping and eating- the pooping comes from the basking temps and the appetite comes from the uvb-
