Well it is known that beardies don't have good depth perception they see things much better further away but miss things up close.. Ie: missing dubia right in front of their nose..
But yea patsyb is on to things that maybe his sight is starting to diminish..Guess you could have his eyes looked at, not sure if the vet has a check for that....
And you said you've had him all these years right...so at any point did he have the coil style UVB bulbs? just the reptisun 10.0 UVB...as the coil ones have been known to cause eye issues..Maybe there is a vit A toxicity going on???

I've always used the tube light as I know the coils can cause issues. His basking light is a reptisun 100 watt white light. Is that too bright? Is the lighting hurting him in some way? I'm just totally lost. Like I said he has lived a pretty perfect life up until the last few months slowly being "off"...

I don't think there's any way he could have too much vitamin a.. after reading the causes. Thanks for sharing the article! I've been keeping a close eye on him and he slept the entire day today. Woke up once and looked around, and went back to sleep. He's under a little towel that he usually sleeps on. The few odd symptoms are just worrying and throwing me off here

Dexter is almost 4 and misses her food every now and then when it's too close to her but she never stumbles or walks into things.
