Glad things are moving forward. So many steps nowadays to get the end result.

It is stupid and the insurance is spending more money since they will not accept the referral from the eye doctor. They now have to pay the eye doctor, PCP, then the specialist. If they would just accept the eye doctor referral they could cut out the PCP all together. Then they want to complain about their profits being down, they are the ones who make you go to 20 doctors just to get to the one you need. It is their stupid policies that make them lose money.

Yep, healthcare is horrible in this country. And it's not going to get any better. Don't want to steal your thread.

no worries. I agree it is bad. It is even worse if you don't have any health coverage at all. The health department here does not accept new patients. The only thing they will do is a womens yearly but only if you have a need for birth control and STD test. You could be dieing and they will turn you away. You mean to tell me with all the taxes paid this is the best the government can offer?

Just an update. Today when I woke up my kidneys did not hurt so I think this round of antibiotics is working. They are not making me throw up so I am actually able to take them like I am supposed to and will not have to stop them early. Still waiting on insurance to approve the specialist for my eyes. Jordan is clear of any traces of MRSA but we will have to wait and see if it is gone for good. I had to dropp my class because I got so far behind I could not get caught up and he was no longer accepting my late assignments, so to save my GPA of 3.75, I had no other choice. But it gives me more time to rest and get better.

I think there are signs telling you that rest is in order. What's a semester? You'll make it up. Glad to hear things are on the upswing!

The classes I am taking are on the quarter system, taking 1 class per term and 2 classes per quarter, so I am only falling behind by 5.5 weeks. Instead of graduating September 2011 it is pushed back to November 2011. This really is not setting me back much b/c I will not be able to apply to Nursing school until Spring 2012 so my plans are not effected by this little set back.
