I'm sorry to harp on this but temp really is important. Stimulates appetite...permits digestion. Have you gotten digital probes yet if not please do :) Basking temp for babies 105-110. Closer to 110 the better but NO higher than 115.

I'm going today to get an under cabinet light and bulbs like I've read is better. I am also planning on dividing the viv into two parts with a piece of cardboard to see if its just that they are housed together... any thoughts?

If you're going to separate them (which would be best) I'm wondering if it might be better just to get another tank, lights, thermometers, branch etc. now. They'll need larger individual spaces eventually anyway. Each space/ tank needs to have it's own basking area, cool end, food dish, substrate and hide. Keep in mind any changes made to their environment will mean amother "acclamation" period.

Where EXACTLY are you measuring the temps at? Lower branch..upper branch..floor? Pics please of where you're placing the probe. Get a higher wattage bulb temp should be closer to 110F. Wax worms are a treat item only. It's good he ate it but it's kinda like getting excited over a malnourished child eating ice cream. Lower temps can affect appetite. Where are you located? Can you get some dubia roaches, silkworms or phoenix worms?

She said earlier she has a zilla slimline desert UVB but I don't know if it's inside or above the tank...and I don't think UVB would affect appetite (although if improper it will affect overall health) can you think of anything else to do about appetite Darrell? I'm really at a loss here. All I can think to do is offer organic veggie baby food via syringe and hope he will eat it. Must be careful not to force tho...don't want to obstruct airway.

Oh, first and foremost, sorry to hear the one past.

yea, I saw that, after I posted it, but tapatalk didn't want to erase
me post sorry. Anyway, I'm with you on the babyfood. I know and this
may sound off the wall, but last year when "juicing" was the big
thing, she used the nutribullet my wife was into, when she'd make her
stuff up, I'd share it with the lizard especially after I tasted it,
but he loved it the only time I saw him lick something up like a dog.
She'd blend, blueberry, strawberry, kale, banana, and ice cubes.

Were they both from the same clutch? and if so could it be maybe a parasite

Oh that's wonderful!! I'd still recommend taking him in for a "wellness check" to a herp vet. Just like a new puppy or kitten it's always good to do :) So happy he's eating some roaches!!!
