So my Zeus went into burmation kind of late this yr. He slept for like 2 weeks. We changed his UVB bulb and his heat bulbs and he comes out here and there but won’t eat and still sleeping a lot. He’s been in bathtub a few times and outside too. He ate like 5 worms one day then one the next now...
Headed to pet store now. But basking temps are about 100. He does have a platform about 10 inches from basking lamps. He’s about 12-18 inches from the UVB side he has a log he climbs on and all that.
So this is our first time with our beardie Zeus burmation. He went into it about a two weeks ago. Is this common this late in the winter months. It’s not been too cold here in Illinois. What should I do to help him. Thanks in advance.
Question. This is the first time our Zeus has been in burmation. He has been asleep for over a week and a half. I have fresh water in his cave and have check on him about every 3 days. Is it normal for them to go into burmation this time of year? I’ve read a lot about winter months but it’s...
Thanks so much. He’s a rescued beardie and I’m not sure how old he is. They said they had him about a yr. It was a small rock. He’s still very active. He’s a pretty chill little guy. Likes to bask and chill on his human brother lol.
So my Zeus ate a small rock last week. My son tried to get it from him but it was fine to fast lol. He’s still playing eating and pooping just fine but it was last Wednesday so almost a week ago. I have checked his poops from about Saturday on and have not seen anything. Should I be worried?
I’m a little concerned with the yellow color coming out in Zeus. We just got him about a month ago and he has shed once. He was a rescue. It’s really only on his nose and by mouth.
