    it is actually hard wood. and i was planning on cleaning it then baking it. i just dont know how to bake it.. wrap in foil?? what temp.? how long?

    i just got a mega ray 100w(raised a couple inches off the screen to keep him the safe distance away) so im using that now with another clear house hold 100w. still the temps get about 95-98 and 80-85 and the cool side.

    also wanted to add that the fixture does say its ok for bulbs up to 150w

    i was just wondering if i can use the 8.5'' ceramic zilla fixture with the 100w mega ray.. it sticks out of the bottom just a little bit but its hanging above the terrarium to keep it the safe 12'' away from him while basking.

    heres a couple of him in his regular tank. i have another tank i feed him in with a better substrate for feeding. and he does have a big branch to climb but LOVES the little one lol
