    Phoenix worms in molded food

I live Phoenix worms compared to crickets. But my guy seems to have gotten bored of them. Taking a break but we'll go back soon

    Proud new parents!

Here is one I love. I made a bookmark for it. A food list on what they can, should or shouldn't eat http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutritionframeset.html

    lost a dragon

What a terrible thing to have to deal with! We had a close one and that was hard enough to deal with. So sorry for your loss! Accidents happen too easily with these tiny guys. Hugs! And please done beat yourself up!

    Long time no poop!

Long time no see! Miss this board! Life gets in the Way sometimes, but alas... Waffles has had some odd pooping behavior. The last few months he hasn't pooped in his cage. So much that I keep a calendar of popping and bathing. . It seems 2 weeks go by. I give him a bath and I see his rectum...

    Strange Beardie Habits

My Waffles does the same things! After he does his "business" his tail arches high near his vent and he turns his tail to the side and scoots forward rubbing his underside on the ground. That's when he makes eye contact with me like he's saying "Privacy, man!" or "Hurry up and clean it up!" He...

    Leashes

I just ordered a harness like the ones you posted. Waffles loves to sit in the grass outside. I am always with him. When he sees a plain or the birds flying he gets skittish and hides under me. Smart guy. But I know these guys can be fast and I don't want to lose him so a harness it is!

    It's been a while.. update..

It's been a while since I've been here so I wanted to give you an update. Waffles is now around 9 months old. (I will have to update his pic.) He has wowed me since day 1 - I never thought lizards could be such valuable family members! I am amazed at how much a family member he is. Anyway, He's...

Phoenix worms, wax worms, crickets... what do you think?

I have referred to that sheet many times. That sheet lists crickets as occasional and Phoenix worms as daily. That's where my question is coming from. Thanks!

    BD is part chameleon?

Of course, I'm being silly. But I notice that sometimes his color is really dark. His entire body is darker and the spots on his underside are pronounced. He is usually on the cooler side of the tank when I find him like this. When I pick him up, with a few minutes, his color is much lighter and...

    guess what, another petsmart post!

We have a PetSmart here. I complained in the store that their small/medium crickets are all TINY and their large are super large! My BD was eating upwards of 40 crickets a day because small/medium translates to small, no medium. How about a medium? I told them I may order online myself. For now...

    Eggs, chicken, etc...

I made a separate thread for this b/c it involves some unusual foods perhaps for beardies. These questions came up at a family dinner one night when we were concerned for our new dragon since the pet store kept selling out of crickets. Since beardies are omniverous, and can eat their own eggs...
