    Advice for my beardie

That's good news, I will be getting a lay box set up tomorrow in preparation if she does need to lay eggs. Thanks so much for all your help, I will let you know how things continue and if and when she lays eggs.

Oh just to let you know, that white 'poop' had no odor.

    Advice for my beardie

I was told when I bought her she was, and the vet said she was (although I didn't hold much confidence in their reasoning). We raise her as female but thought she might be a male, which didn't matter, we would still call her Arya lol. I guess because she's a year old and we didn't see anything...

    Advice for my beardie

I did order some dubias and nutrigrubs and will try to see if these help. She was mostly back to normal for a couple days, nothing out of the ordinary, but today she did that strange poop and is a bit rambunctious again. It is mostly clear with some white milky looking stuff in it. I got a...

    Advice for my beardie

She loves to be out, we give her exercise regularly and she is the sweetest and gentlest little girl, she is very cuddly even with strangers. I will definitely try the dubia roaches, I have heard about them. They are expensive retail but I wouldn't be feeding her as many as when she was young...

    Advice for my beardie

The t5 10.0 bulb is inside hanging and just recently replaced in 6 months. Surface temps are taken with a digital and daytime basking area reaches just over 100, maybe 105 at the top, the surface temps on the cool side reach around 80-85, night temps go down in the mid 70s or maybe a touch...

    Advice for my beardie

Hi, My beardie just turned a year old and had her first visit to the vet and she had a very good visit, everything looked well. That was about 3 weeks ago. Over the last week, she has become very rambunctious, doing things she never did since upgrading her enclosure 6 months ago. She is in a...

    Bearded dragon lighting questions

I am a new Beardie owner myself and just wanted to tell you that your little dragon just looks so happy from the few pictures you showed us. I know the advice from this forum helped me with some initial lighting questions, so as you get some of your enclosure and UVB issues taken care of, your...

    You cant see me!

    Our Beardie is soooo cuddly!

Well, we hold her a decent amount every day and feed her some of her food by hand most days so she is very used to us. Now, she doesn't come out on her own yet, we still have to pick her up, but she is not happy when we put her back though lol

    Our Beardie is soooo cuddly!

Her name is Arya, roughly 7 or 8 months old. Once she gets her exercise, she relaxes and this is how she usually ends up with either me or my Fiance. We never expected that a Beardie could be so cuddly, but she is extremely relaxed with us and so gentle.

    Proper UVB for Zen Enclosure

Update and thanks for the advice. I ended up using a 150 watt basking because her basking spot was not getting quite hot enough. I have been monitoring and the basking area is staying right around 100 and in the 80s on the cool side. I have been experimenting with not using the heat emitter...

    Proper UVB for Zen Enclosure

Thanks much, kind of what I thought. I will try the 100w and if it doesn't quite get the temp up where she likes it, I will just upgrade.

    Proper UVB for Zen Enclosure

I just got my new Zen Enclosure and am setting it up for my Juvenile Beardie. I bought the 36" Reptisun Fixture and am mounting it inside with some chain to hang about 2-4 inches from the screen crossbars. The fixture came with the T5 5.0 bulb but as I have been doing my research most would...
