    shedding time

My beardie has had her shed coat on for some time now. Should I be concerned if she does not seem to be shedding? Does she look healthy?

    Bioactive substrate

Hi! I would like to convert my 120 gallon into a bioactive substrate habitat for my 7 month old beardie. I have the money to spend and I think it would be great for the beardie (and for me so less cleaning, if any). is there an online retailer anyone would recommend? the bio dude seems to be...

    regurgitation and poop

Hi Sadie I hope you are having a nice weekend so far. Attached are pictures of Charmander in her new tank. Her basking spot has a gradient of 95-105 and away from the lamp it goes down to 75. I kept all of her old terrain and added more. Please let me know your thoughts.

    regurgitation and poop

About one foot. I have a laser gun for the temp and it reaches 108 on some spots on the rock. She does move around which signals to me she has the gradient needed to regulate throughout the day. She is very alert and active and appears to be a great health. She is an eating machine! have not had...

    regurgitation and poop

Hi Sadie thanks for checking in I hope all is well. I just learned that Charmander is a female and she is looking healthy, strong and growing fast. She is eating her greens more often and loves her BSF larvae (she has also been hunting down the flies that have hatched with pinpoint accuracy). As...

    regurgitation and poop

The issue I am encountering with hand feeding into the tank is that I have to approach him from above, even though I approach him from the front. And therefore he things I am a predator. I read that it is not really necessary to handle the animal until it is a bigger juvie (8 inches long)-- and...

    regurgitation and poop

Hi Sadie -- Just wanted to say thanks again for the help. Charmander looks to be growing quickly and strong. He just finished shedding today and his scales look beautiful. He is loving his dusted dubia roaches (I gave up on the grasshoppers because he won't touch them) and is even starting to...

    regurgitation and poop

I was told by the pet store that beardie is about 6 months old. I think you mentioned the dragon is younger--how many months would you say?

    regurgitation and poop

I just received my 120 gallon. do you think it is too early to switch my dragon over? I read in a book that you do not want to put a baby in a large enclosure until they are bigger. thanks again

    regurgitation and poop

Sadie, thanks for the prompt response. Upon your advice, I have removed the mesh, plugged in the UVB bar, and added a hide/log for him. The digital thermometer reads 108 on the surface of the log, which I lowered. It is rising as we speak and I'll make sure it stays between 105-110 as you've...

    regurgitation and poop

I have a 20 gallon tank. Currently using a 75 watt basking lamp. I do have a Pro T5 UVB acadia 12 percent (long tube) but given that the tank is not that high, I thought I had read that it could be too much UVB. I also have a 100 watt basking light on the way but again, was worried that given...
