    BD stubborn about required veggies..

Dealing with a stubborn eater! - Draco is still improving nicely and he had on okay vet visit. I got rid of those Kales and bought some Collards, he wont touch them (he used to eat them as a baby but not now that's he's an adult, he would only eat kales, cucumber, grapes and strawberries)...

Assistance with calcium deficiency? Sadly, no herp vet.

Awesome info , thank you! One thing I'm curious about - I have the rep-cal calcium with D3, it was the only calcium that said phosphorus free...If I get one that has no D3 it has the phosphorus in it, if I have to pick my poison, am I better off have the phosphorus free and the D3 or having the...

Assistance with calcium deficiency? Sadly, no herp vet.

In my area I have searched high and low as of recently for a herp vet to help me with some issues with Draco my 2.3 yr old BD. I have had a very small compilation of vets to contact through my research but the information turned out to be outdated and the very few herp vets listed are no longer...

What can we do to prevent yellow fungus?

Fortunately I haven't had to deal with this but I've been doing some research on bd illness since Draco had an issue the other day and I'm pretty clueless as to what can go wrong with a beardie including diseases et. Upon my research I came across yellow fungus..it sounds like a common and...

Hey there, Im in the market for a 75 gal tank for Draco, hes in a 40 breeder now and just seems bored out of his mind. Theres not much room in there :/ ...however seems like its going to be a long wait, the local petco cant get the warehouse to get them in and they've been trying for a...

    Hammock?

Anyone have an issue with Hammocks staying attached? I used to have one Draco but it started falling down as he grew, I didn't want him to get hurt so I took it away but he sure did love it. I see people using the hammocks often in photos, how do you get them to stick so well?

Dracos in trouble! Can't walk properly.

Good news is, it was an impaction. Im making some changes to his living arrangements and he's been looking better after a couple baths and some collard greens.

Dracos in trouble! Can't walk properly.

The past few weeks Draco has been losing weight and acting lethargic. I didn't even notice it, but his UVB bulb was incredibly dim! I immediately changed it once I noticed it! I'd say it was dim no longer than 3-4 weeks. I know that is simply too long and I feel terrible. I'm prego and I've been...

Going back to the substrate being difficult to keep clean- I'm no where near experienced in anything BD but I've fumbled through keeping my guy for 2 years and so far so good as far as health and care (still struggling with handling lol) so thought maybe I'd offer this tip if you do plan to...

Going to sleep before lights out

My 2 yr old Draco also put himself to bed early, has been for about 8 months now. He has a basic idea of when his timer is going to be turning his lights off and usually put himself to bed 15 minutes before his light goes out, its pretty cute. Sometimes he falls asleep and other times he just...

I love my little Draco beardie, my first and my only. Had him since he was a few weeks old at the pet store. He is a very very sweet boy, loves to be pat! Especially right on his head and upper back. He has a 40gal breeder tank, a crazy climbing stick, a bridge and a food dish, his heat lamp...

how do I get my BD to warm up to me.....

when Draco was a baby he was awful to catch! He would run and scurry and hide, hiss and bite, he was a little monster! I stopped trying to handle him for about 5 months...simply pat him gently and spent time with my hand in and around him....eventually he graduated, grew up, relaxed and learned...
