Beardie Keep throwing arms back and shaking them

What I am supposed to be using. Reptisun 10 uvb t5 with hooded reflector fixture. As I said, his husbandry is where it is supposed to be

Beardie Keep throwing arms back and shaking them

My 1 y/o Elliot has been doing something that I literally have never heard of before and cannot find info on anywhere. Probably 3 months ago I laid him down to sleep and he threw his arm completely back, parallel to his body and started shaking it. It didn’t seem voluntary though. I took him to...

Need some advice as soon as possible! Please help

I do realize that but I know my dragon. He wasn’t well at all. He’s starting to return to normal now. Not quite 100% yet but I think his stomach was very very upset.

Need some advice as soon as possible! Please help

I live in pa. I was honestly worried it was a stink bug. I know they hold a lot of pesticides in their “shells.” He definitely isn’t quite back to being himself completely. He pooped a lot of liquid this morning. A lot. He has eaten some, not as much as usual; but I definitely think whatever it...

Need some advice as soon as possible! Please help

Also, sorry to keep posting I keep remembering things… I do know of that site. That’s actually where I found his new vet that was recommended by actual herp keepers. He seems good but at the same time he also seems like he doesn’t think anything is too serious. But he is very nice, has been...

Need some advice as soon as possible! Please help

I got him a reptile first aid kit and added quite a few things to it from http://www.beardeddragon.co/ They honestly have so many beneficial things for them. Their activated charcoal is pre mixed into a ready to use liquid that has the dosage on the bottle so there’s no guess work or having to...

Need some advice as soon as possible! Please help

Yes. It is premixed for them and it’s .4 to .8 cc’s of the syringe per every 100 grams of body weight. His last check up he was 530. Problem being, each syringe only goes up to 1 ml which is equal to ten .1 cc’s. So .4 time 5 would have been 20cc or 2 ml. I had to give him two entire syringes...

Need some advice as soon as possible! Please help

I’d like to consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to bearded dragons and especially mine own. I pay attention to everything and notice the slightest changes. The vets in my area seem to be pretty useless at this point so I’m turning to this forum. Exactly 3 1/2 hours ago (3:56 pm...

Beardie ate 2 1/2 small Pansy petals...

I’m more worried about possible pesticides that may have been on the plant as I haven’t gotten the chance to purify it of those or anything else harmful. Am I wrong in assuming that greenhouses generally don’t use pesticides? The plant is in full bloom in March so that’d almost have to be how it...

Beardie ate 2 1/2 small Pansy petals...

Ok, so I know that pansies and the exact genus/species I have are safe for bearded dragons. I live in PA and it’s March and we are just starting our seeds. I got a lot of specific ones for him. He’s a brat about greens and veggies so I’m going to grow him some and see if him eating them while...

    Calcium and Herptivite

A Also, I’m sorry it’s just so frustrating, I’ve seen so many people say Dubias need straight calcium dusted on them every feeding. I do take him to the vet in a couple of weeks so I will see what they say. There is just so much conflicting info. Even here. I always feel more confused in the...

    Calcium and Herptivite

Just one question though. I have both the calcium with and without D3. The beautiful dragons nutrition sheet you sent me to when I first got him said I didn’t need to use the calcium with D3. That it was totally unnecessary. Which is why I got just the straight calcium. That is what I dust his...

    Calcium and Herptivite

I feed my dragon a combination of BSFL and Dubias. For the live feeders, anyhow. He’s probably between 3-4 months old (I naively got him from a pet store and they can’t tell you anything about their actual birth dates) but I know to dust dubias every time I give them with calcium to give them a...

    UVB Question

Sorry to keep writing so many replies, but with the double basking light no matter where he is on the hot side he’s under it to a certain degree. It’s just hotter or cooler depending on where and if it seems too hot for him I can turn the one furthest away from where he is off for a bit to cool...

    UVB Question

I figured moving it vertically would not only give him a darker cool side but also give him more ares that were closer to the uvb than it just being in the back. ESP since he prefers to be at the higher points in the front as opposed to the back. He loves his log, hanging rope triangle hammock...
