    Yes the insulation is on top but it is not regular insulation, it does NOT have fiberglass, and it is hypo-allergenic. I’m not sure what type of of carpet to call it, it feels almost like fake grass but a lot shorter and brown.

    I found this in my bearded dragons tank. Does any one have an idea of what it could be? It doesn’t look like it could be from anything in her tank. It was surrounded by a bunch of little poops and it feels very rubbery.

    Yes it is. It gets really cold in my house at night and I noticed it makes the temperature in her tank drop so I put it there to keep the heat in. But it does not have fiberglass.

    A lot of great information thank you! And thank you for pointing out my mistakes. I’m glad you caught this so I can correct it before any harm could be done. I will definitely look into this website and getting new equipment (for lack of a better word) for my beardie! :) I greatly appreciated it!
