    Swollen toe

Well this vet came highly recommended by a lot of people in my area (I’m new here and asked around). They said he works very well with them but I’m beginning to think I need someone else. I will pull the rads and when I get blood work I will post. All I know at the moment is that her RBC was...

    Swollen toe

I really hope someone out there can help me. I’ve had my beardie to the vet 3x and she’s just getting worse. She’s had a swollen toe for months and it seems like it’s starting to travel towards the main part of her hand. She’s been on antibiotics and anti inflammatory and nothing seems to help...

    Dark grey spots

It’s is a zoo med reptisun 10.0 24” tube. I just replaced the tube 3 months ago. It’s at the same distance from her it has always been. Nothing has changed that way. I put the lamisil on so we’ll see how that goes. Thanks again.

    Dark grey spots

It is a tube. I saw what your friend said too. Her weight is good (1.1#), her basking temp is about 105, cool side is about 75. I will double check that when her enclosure warms up again. Lights went on about 10 minutes ago. She has brumated in the past but everything happened at once ( spots...

    Dark grey spots

ZooMed Reptisun 10.0 UVB. Sits about 8” from her basking spot. Her lights are out now since it is her bedtime. I can take a pic tomorrow if you would like.

    Dark grey spots

I will definitely revisit the lighting. Although that hasn’t changed but maybe the uvb bulb needs changing out. I just did it 3 months ago but you never know. I will try the honey first since I have that in hand. Then I will move to lamisil next. Thank you! Monday morning I will find another vet.

Thank you! I need a little guidance with this. I like my vet and he didn’t seem super concerned but I am.

    Dark grey spots

Hey everyone! A while back I had posted a pic of my beastie with some funky grey patches on her beard. Many said they were shed spots and my worries were put to the side. Well since then these spots have not gone away, but they have not grown in size either. She’s very lethargic, not eating...

    Grey patches on beard??

Hi everyone! So I noticed that my beardie has a couple grey spots on her beard. Not sure what this is. In the past she’s had a spike or 2 turn grey then it just disappears. She’s never had areas this large before. Also, to give a little background, we recently moved and it was a very large move...

    Beardie Transport

Thank you! I will look into one of those carriers. She is actually quite comfortable with the dog and cat. Its the 94# dog that is afraid of her:-)

    Beardie Transport

Hello!! I will be moving in a couple weeks and will be driving approx 20 hours. I will be doing this drive straight thru since I will also have a dog and cat with me. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to make the travel less stressful for my beardie (Mango). She is currently...

So I'm looking for advice on how to make my long distance move easier on Mango. I will be driving for approx 20 hours, and will be doing the drive in one shot. (I'm also transporting a dog and cat). Any suggestions on how minimize the stress on her would be appreciated! Thank you!!

    Not Eating

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I took Mango to the vet yesterday. She was dehydrated but her main is sure is that she’s going to lay her first batch of eggs! He took an x-ray and we counted at least 3-5 but possibly more. He said I possibly influenced her to lay the eggs by moving her into...

    Not Eating

Oh thank you this makes me feel a bit more positive! This sounds exactly like our issue. She hasn’t eaten hardly anything the last 24-48hrs. At least before she would take a few bites here and there. So I am taking her to the vet tomorrow morning and hopefully some fluids and extra attention is...
