Does anyone know what the dark spot on my bearded dragons chin is? It started with only a dark spot but now it looks a little bit swollen. I am getting a bit worried.

Looks like hes got a piece of scale missing could be from shedding - or maybe glass surfing-- is he doing that? You can use some raw unpasteurized honey on it like Manuka dab it on there - it will promote healing just dont feed any crickets in the tank they will go straight for the wound

He is shedding now so I hope it will fix itself. He does glass surf sometimes when he wants to go out. I will try some rae unpasteurized honey if needed, thank you!

Hello,

This is a very common injury. I agree, using raw unpasteurized honey on the area should help to
reduce pain & swelling & keep it from getting infected too.
