Weird top lip

Gilbert has a weird bit on the edge of his top lip. I am not sure if it is shed that has not come off or if it is something more concerning. He is currently shedding and did just had a bath. He is eating normal and fine otherwise, maybe a little on the chunky side. Whatever it is it does not seem to bother him.

I would have a vet look at it. It looks like some sort of infection.

Does he rub his face on the glass often trying to get out?

Yes, he seems to be bored and rubs his nose on the glass. We are redoing his cage this week to give him more to do.

That is what it reminds me of just watch for infection. Redoing his cage is a great idea. I am looking for stuff for Mushu's enclosure you just gave me a great idea. I need to look for branches etc. That I can change position easily to rearrange furniture at times.
