Hello,

Sadie is correct, they can get very spoiled at a young age & not want to eat anything else. The
best way to help break the habit is to gradually introduce another type of insect that is healthier. It wont be easy but it can be done.
Will he not eat any greens?
Your basking light is it a bright white light for him?
The Arcadia D3 12% T5 tube is a great bulb. You will want that mounted alongside of your basking bulb, at around 10 or so inches from him.

Hey!

I’m guessing that’s also what it is, SPOILT!

this morning I made his salad and placed 3/4 locusts on, I had to pop out for the day but checked in on my camera to see him running around the tank chasing the locusts and eating his greens! so it seems he is spoilt, no wax worms were offered this morning maybe that’s why he chased the locusts. All mounted inside of the Viv and across one side to ensure he has a brake from all lights on the other. Faunalux light will be here Wednesday and I cannot wait to see the improvement! ♥️

Glad to read that the baby is eating the locusts now ! That's what I suggested from the start, to keep offering the crickets and locusts. Just make sure they aren't too big so they cause impaction. The 3/4 might be a bit large for a 17 gram beardie.

I only by the small for him, would never go bigger than the gap between his eyes.
Although it was only one and some salad, it’s a start!
He’s also going through a full body shed so hopefully once that’s complete his appetite picks up x
