The water crystals in my roach bin keep drying out. I don't think I'm making them right. I'm adding water and putting them in therer. Do they need to soak in water for a certain amount of time? Is there a ratio I should be using when making them?

You should let them soak in the water for about an hour in a sealed container. I normally make a large container of it and just scoop out of the container periodically.

We do the same as Brian - make one big container and scoop from that. They need to be replaced every few days, though (in the bin) or they get nasty and dry out.

I take 5-6 teaspoons full of crystals in a 1 gallon milk jug and fill with water and let sit over night. They stay fresh in there if the cap is left on. ;)
