Its just a term I thought up, it sounded better then magicians staff. I'm kinda a fantasy geek but my staff will have more of a Native American feel, a crystal on top for healing properties, the claw of a cougar which is my spirit guide and various other animal bits that have special meaning to me.
I was told once years ago that I have a medicine womans spirit in me, used to do a lot of herbal healing. Its something that still interests me.
