ok so I went to the website to post the link for the one at Pet Smart and they dont have it on there - so if you have a Pet Smart go there and see if they have it in stock you want this one
Arcadia Pro T 5 12% bulb 24 watt --- let me know if you find it there -- I have looked all over the internet and am having a hard time finding that fixture and bulb -- I can find the 14% bulb/ fixture so I am thinking they are having a hard time keeping up w/ the demand but who knows - I can post 2 others for you but you will haft to order them on line
will i be able to find the bulb and the hood at petsmart? or will i have to order the hood online because i know they don’t come together.
could you possibly paste a picture so i know what it looks like?

Yes that is one I would recommend make sure you get the reptisun 10.0 bulb placement and distance is determined by the screen on the tank - I can help w/ that so post back on here when you get it
The Arcadia is a popular uvb and the pic I posted for it come together as a unit - PetSmart has recently dropped the price on that fixture so I am assuming that is why they are sold out
so would the reptisun be a good choice as well? i would have to buy the hood and light separately if i bought from the reptisun right?
Yes there are 3 that I recommend that is one of them --- yes you need to buy the 10.0 bulb separate -- the fixture comes w/ a 5.0 bulb that is used for a smaller tank like a 20 gallon but for a 40 + gallon you want the 10.0 bulb - also the bulb will need to be changed out in approx 10-11 months

What is the screen on the tank? Fine mesh like a screen door- or wide hole type

Yes - that is a wide hole type - the fixture can sit on top of the screen w/ a piece of basking decor directly under it 8-10 inches - change the bulb out in about 10-11 months -
