UVB and mesh

This may have been posted before, but I found this video interesting re: UVB and how much mesh can cut down on how much gets to the lizard. They recommend cutting the mesh where the light goes or mounting under mesh, even for T5 bulbs. Worth pondering!

The mesh on the Exo-Terra tanks works well
With T5 bulbs. I use Arcadia 12% on my mesh and I still get an acceptable reading with my solar meter and it’s been a year.

OK, just thought it was interesting and noteworthy - somthing to ponder! Esp. for those using T8 bulbs.
