I'm so happy to say this, but yesterday was my little guy's tail amputation appointment and the vet ended up not going through with it!!! They said they completely overestimated the tail rot and it was only the very tiny tip of his tail that even showed signs of it. He's currently on pentoxifylline to improve circulation for the next month, but besides that, he's a happy boy. I attached a pic of him as a cowboy.
