Understand their name?

I am aware that beardies can hear what we are saying (though they do not understand) do they eventually learn their name from recognizing the sound? Like dogs cant understand us but they eventually learn certain commands and their name. I know i sound stupid but im curious because Alex turns his head to the side when i say his name.

I believe they do learn to recognize their names and other words. Mine all know what "eat" implies.

Allie recognizes her name, the word(s) crickets, no, greens, nomnoms-supers, and go bask. It's amazing how they know some words, but not all.
