Two UVB Light Bulbs in a 40 gall tank.

The uvb light who came with my 40 gall kit is just 20 w, and i got a new one (26 w).i just am wondering, if can i put both of them. is it safe or harmless?

I'm not sure of what the wattage means and how much a BD should get, but too much light can irritate their eyes. I've also read that coils aren't the best type of bulb to use...

If you can, I suggest investing in a reptisun 10.0. I believe this is one of the best bulbs on the market and has definitely kept my guy active and healthy.

German glass is best as suggested, Reptisun. Made in China bulbs like ExoTera, Zilla and Fluker's are horrible, unreliable and they do not last but a couple months from my experience. Note: even though Reptisun 10.0 says replace once a year, I would replace every 6 months due to the reduction in radiation given off at 6 months is bare minimal usually.
