hey all!
my beardie (5) has had a dead tail tip for a while now.
i had it looked at by a vet and he said it's nothing to worry about, after her worm treatment (which ends in three days) he'd cleanly remove the tip, just to make sure it's well and doesn't cause problems
so...
today, the tip fell off
my main question is, do i need to do anything /right now/, or can i just leave it until i see the vet again later this week?
it fell off when i was running my fingers along her tail (i didn't pull it or used any sort of force)
she didn't even blink or flinch, so i assume she is not painful
the tip is dry and doesn't look "raw" or bloody or irritated.
instinctively, i would just leave it be as it is, i keep her on linoleum, so no sand or dirt, but she does free-roam my appartment, and i let her swim in a kiddy pool on the balcony when it's warm
i made some pictures and i hope you can tell me if i need to treat her immediately, or if i can just relax and wait for the vet appointment
tbh, i'm not very worried, but i'm no expert, so i want to make sure
