You want to aim it all along where your dragon will bask and mostly at the highest point so not to burn your dragon.

Thanks ...I will try it...I aim it on his basking log and its good..Just not sure if its 90 on the warm side.

I love the temp. gun I aim it right where she sits When i take her out sometimes i'll take a reading on her back and she'll be 95°, almost our body temp.
