Tank near a window?

Hello,

Our beardie has his tank near a window that gets morning sun. So most mornings, he basks in the sun instead of under his heat lamp (which is on the opposite side of the tank). That's fine, right? He sometimes basks there after he eats his breakfast salad, but by the time he gets crickets (for lunch), the sun is no longer shining in and he basks under his heat lamp to digest those. He also has his UV light, which is on about 13-14 hours per day.

Hes not getting uvb through the glass, it filters out atleast 30-50% of it, and since theres two panes of glass he’s probably not getting much, its not an issue as long as he basks in his uvb light for atleast 3hrs, what might be an issue is the stimulation from looking outside, birds can really bother them, if hes a calm beardie its fine.

Can you go over your lighting with us? Temps? Make shure ur taking temps with a digital probe or a ir gun, stick ons oy measure air temp, Absolutely NO compact COIL UVBs , these are bad for bearded dragons and cause eye problems and offer little to no uvb/uva.

Yep, I have the reptisun 5.0 and a regular dome heat lamp with a bulb, not with the coils. I use a gun-type thermometer. It's 102-107 or so on the hot side and 80ish on the cool side (which is where the sun shines in). Beardie is 5 months old, nice and fat and healthy, according to the vet. He eats lots of crickets and two salads per day.
