Tail rot?

The tip of his tail is fine and doesn’t appear infected. The mid tail was starting to peal about 6 days ago and looked ok with no puss or anything under what old skin came off.

He’s very lethargic and will only eat his crickets if they are right in front of him. Should I just treat in betadine or take to a vet??? Thanks
