Tail looks darker after shedding last week

He shed last week and his tail looks darker than before. Is that normal? Thanks!

Are you sure all the shed came off the tail? Does the darkness go all the way around the tail?

It did shed completely. Now I'm wondering if he's shedding his tail again? He's growing like crazy!
